Carbon Literacy for Healthcare course attendee
Why should healthcare be interested?
A 2021 Lancet report shows we can prevent 125,000 premature deaths in the UK annually by meeting our international climate goals through better “flexitarian” diets, taking more exercise and improving air quality.
Higher gains are made if we went further and focused on the health gains from addressing the climate.
The prize of improved human AND planetary health is there for the taking.
